A Doctorate program is a research driven program that delves into vast traditional and spiritual knowledge of Sanatan Vedic Bhartiya Jnyan Parampara covering diversified areas and sections of knowledge streams. It integrates ancient Vedic wisdom with contemporary studies, promoting scholarly exploration and practical applications. This doctorate programs prepare researchers to preserve, reinterpret and innovate within the realm of Bhartiya Jnyan Parampara i.e. Indian Knowledge System for global relevance.
    
University wishes to encourage and promote the pure research in Sanatan Vaidic Bhartiya Hindu Knowledge treasure and repertory. There are huge opportunities and  cosmic possibilities of research in divine voyage and august flow of Vedic civilization and traditional knowledge. It will help for revitalization of the mother earth in these challenging time of the planet. University desires to open this stream of research which is otherwise overlooked in contemporary academic world. This initiative will enable - large number of scholars across the society and globe to contribute for the betterment of the planet.

Liberal entry system and flexible eligibility will avail ample opportunities for all to lead the research in this area.

Eligibility 

  • For Doctorate by Qualification and Research Program:

  1. Master's degree (from any recognized university) in any Subject with a minimum 50% marks.

  • For Doctorate by Practice and Research Program           (Any 1 of the following):

  1. ​Graduate degree (from any recognized university) in any Subject with a minimum 50% marks with practical experience of minimum 10 years in the respective field.

  2. Diploma ( 3 Years ) (from any recognized university) in any Subject with a minimum 50% marks with practical experience of at least 15 years in the respective field.

  3. SSC - Matric passed - (from any recognized board) with a minimum 50% marks with practical experience of minimum 20 years in the respective field.

  • For Doctorate by Publications and Research:

  1. Minimum 3 independent books or 3 books co-authored with experts. (Each book of minimum 160 - 200 pages)

Admission Schedule

  1. Registration Open :-  1st October 2025 

  2. Last date for Application :- 15th  November 2025 

  3. Online Entrance Test, Online Interview and Assessment of applications :- 15th November to 15th December 2025 

  4. Declaration of Acceptance :-  20th December 2025

  5. Last date for payment of First Installment :- 31st December 2025 

  6. Introduction of Guides and Confirmation of Research Topic :- 1st January to 31st January 2026

  7. Commencement of First Semester :- 1st April 2026

Online Entrance Exam &
Online Interview

  1. Entrance exam details:

    • MCQ's based exam for 100 marks.​

    • Exam time - 1 hour.

    • The date of the exam will be conveyed individually after the registration.

  2. Syllabus for the entrance exam:

    • ​​Vedic Literature - Ved, Upanishad​​​ and Vedang.

    • Epics - Ramayana and Mahabharata.

    • Puranas and Pauranik Literature.

    • Indian Philosophy - Shad-darshan and other darshanas.

    • Indian history - Ancient Indian history and Modern history.

  3. Online Interview:

    • Candidate's personal profile.​

    • Area of interest.

    • Communication skills.

    • Research Topic (if selected)

Duration

Minimum 2 Years (can be extended up to 5 Years) 

After completion of 5 Years from the registration date, the student will be treated as a fresh student and he/she will be required to follow the procedure as a new candidate. ​

  10. Paper Publication in Journals / Conferences - 4 Papers (before submission of the thesis)

  11. Submission of the Thesis 

  12. Evaluation and assessment of the Thesis
